Thanks to support from U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter CO-07, Congress appropriated $331,692 in 2008 and $235,620 in 2009 toward equipping CCA’s new Critical Incident Theater.

To make the exercise even more realistic by simulating severe trauma, CCA students will act as victims and will challenge first responders by acting in “moulage,” or injury simulation: simulated lacerations, abrasions, fractures, and impalements.
