About Down Syndrome:
It is the most common genetic abnormality occurring in one out of 800 births. Down syndrome is a genetic condition in which babies are born with an extra copy of chromosome 21. The March of Dimes estimates that the condition affects more than 350000 people in the United States and 6000 in Colorado.
